An Evening of Fun, Food, and Swimming!July 13 DescriptionScouts, Varsity, and Venturers along with your family are all invited to join us for an evening of fun and food! Tuesday night we will not be meeting at Windsor Road Christian Church. Instead we will be enjoying an evening at Indian Acres Swim Club. Arrive at Indian Acres: 5:30 PM Eat dinner: Shortly after arrival Swim and have fun: After dinner Event ends: 7:30 PM Indian Acres is located in the Lincolnshire neighborhood, near the intersection of Prospect Ave. and Kirby Ave. in southwestern Champaign. You can go to this website for directions - http://www.indianacresswimclub.org/directions.html We will be enjoying hamburgers and hotdogs provided by the Troop and fun in the pools. There is no charge for the event! The entire family is invited! Each family needs to bring a side dish to share. If your last name starts with A - L bring a dessert. If your last name starts with M - Z then bring a non-dessert side dish, (salads, chips, etc.) The troop will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, paper plates, and plastic forks. You should bring your own drinks, lawn chairs, and a side dish. We will be conducting swim tests for Ransburg and will be able to sign off other Scout related swim and water safety requirements.
